Sid's favorite new spot to hang out is in her saucer toy (thank you Edick's!). The picture below was taken before we figured out how to clip in her favorite part, a little crab spinny noise-making thing. That's the technical term for it. From the moment we set her in she has loved practicing using her silly little legs.
With no live [in person] music on the horizon, a lot of our favorite musicians have been doing live streams that we've been enjoying. Pandemic silver lining is that we can catch these shows without having to hire a babysitter.
We've also started to experiment with solids this month. Sid is largely confused by this new experience. Below was her first taste of avocado.
With a few weekends of crummy weather and busy work schedules for Zeke and Gin, we didn't get to the pool as much as we'd hoped. But made do with a nice afternoon in the courtyard and a perfectly Sid sized bucket.
Zeke has been making great progress toward his latest personal culinary challenge - to perfect the pancake. And Gin is happy for anything to drown in maple syrup. Don't ask her how much syrup she went through while pregnant with Sid.
We've been trying to get out and socialize a bit more this month before Zeke and Gin totally lose their minds. If nothing else, it gives us an excuse for Sid to try on her cutest outfits. Here she was repping her family's Maryland pride for a lunch date with another couple from Maryland.
Our champion little sleeper officially moved out of the Snoo into her big girl crib. It has proven to be a pretty seamless transition, and Zeke and Gin thank their lucky stars every night (and every morning) for that.
Bonus behind the scenes shot of Squid's photoshoot.
