Sidney is 6 months old!

Six months. How has half a year gone by already? I know we are not alone in experiencing a strange duality in the passage of time - with each day feeling like a year, and each month feeling like a day. But watching how quickly Sid is changing on a monthly, weekly, and even daily basis really puts it into perspective. So what's new over the past month? Well, Sid discovered how absolutely delicious her toesies are.

We savored our last few weekends at the pool, which closed Labor Day weekend.

Zeke and Sid shared a very important milestone of matching outfits.

Sid met her new best friend Donna the Llama.

She got even more comfortable in her big girl crib, and just looks so damn cute in it. Like, hello little tootsies sticking out!!

We took in the Nasvhille skyline. The building with the blue square on the corner is our apartment! The "Born in Nashville" onesie Sid is sporting is actually what she came home from the hospital in. It was a last-minute gift shop purchase* because her super prepared parents may have forgotten to pack something for her to wear.

*actually free, as the employees took pity on a frazzled new dad

We've started the adventures into eating solid foods! I believe these pictures are of her trying carrots for the first time - she's still not a big fan.

We feel so lucky, every day, to have our little Squid in our lives. She is such a source of light and joy in these weird times, and we are getting very anxious to be able to share her with our friends and family. Not fair to keep her all to ourselves now is it?
